Is Lebron James gonna be the Dan Marino of the NBA? Go to title game early, lose & never go back

First of all, Lebron doesn't have to be anything like Marino...but that's not just up to him. this is a TEAM problem, so it's going to take a better effort from the entire organization. they need to do everything necessary to capitalize on this season, and that includes making trades...restructuring of contracts to clear cap space...the coach getting a better understanding of how to coach (cuz he was taken to school and severely out coached)...the role players playing better....and of course, Lebron making his own improvements.

The time for them is NOW. with the eastern conference playing so lackluster, their chances of getting back are pretty good. truth be told, they are one dependable veteran away from being in that spot. Donyell Marshall, Larry Hughes, Damon Jones, and Eric Snow....should all be on the chopping block!!! make a move for Jermaine Oneal or KG.

Lebron has star power, and it's time for him to use it.

In all honesty, any of the older vets...retired or not...shouldn't mind giving him a little advice on what he needs to learn as a franchise player. he can reach out to free agents, express his desire to have them in Cleveland. it's been done over and over.

Lebron AND the Cavs can get back....they just have a lot of moves to make.

Yes! His team mates are going to leave realizing that he really isn't that good. Then they will go to better teams (San Antonio) and win more championships...........=)

I doubt it. The Cavs will see that they made it to the finals because of King James and realize they must build something around him. Once they do so then they will win a title with him.

3 reasons Marino never won a title. No running game, no running game and no running game. The Dolphins never built a team to complete Marino. The Cavs will not make that mistake with Lebron.
Very possible. LeBron is not the type to sit back and make less money off his salary so that the team can sign more players of value. The Bulls dynasty of the 90's was largely possible because Jordan artifically deflated the salaries of the rest of the team - and he could live on his Nike and other sponsorships. Right now, I don't see LeBron doing something like that in an attempt to let the team be better.

LeBron, I think, is the complementary star - like Pippen was to Jordan. The Cavs, however, probably will not be able to find another star to match him up with, and that will be their nemesis as the Pistons and Bulls evolve.
No
