Lebron james not living up to the hype??????

Do you think game 2 was a wake-up call for LB, and do you think he will play great, like he did in game 3, for the rest of the series? I think it's too late, but I hope he goes into next season with a winning attitude. What bball player says "it's just bball", that not an attitude of a winner. I hope he brings his spark back, like what he had last season, if he does, he will make it to the finals next year. I needs to stay aways from all those extra activities, like USA, commercials, big house, etc. I think that had toll on him this year.

Lebron james not living up to the hype??????nba mvp

SHUT THE **** UP! LeBron James is doing a great job, and he is currently the age equivalent of a senior in college. Give him time. He hit clutch shot after clutch shot in Game 3, he got fouled in Game 2 (if you can't expect the refs to call that, then you can't expect him to make that,) and made a great pass to a wide open teammate in game 1. The "It's just basketball" attitude is a great attitude to have, it shows that he can put things in perspective. And I appreciate him not being selfish and playing on Team USA when a lot of stars won't play and hurt the USA's chance of winning. As the face of basketball, he has to market himself and do commercials, so did Michael Jordan. And do you really think a big house is an activity?

Lebron james not living up to the hype??????nba trades ,nba teams

I think it's a tremendous amount of pressure being brought into the NBA and hyped as the second coming. Consider also that the NBA, as well as the shoe companies and endorsement companies, promote scorers and individual play where as I think Lebron's game may be more suited towards being more of a team player than he is. i think if he were to stop worrying about the chip and dip money he has to make with the endorsement deals and be a true team player, like Magic Johnson maybe, then he would lead his team to a title. What you've all failed to realize when talking about his disapointing season is that he actually had a better year this year than last, and his team won more games, but everyone says he had a down year because his scoring was down (which was mainly because his free throw percentage was wayyyyyy down). So what do we really want, a scorer or a team player? The media wants a scorer....
His team isn't doing it for him. In games 1 and 2 he tried to share the basketball, and it didn't work. The cavs need more perimeter threats and a bigger post presence.
HE IS A GOOD PLAYER, BUT STILL HAS TO SHOW HE CAN TAKE OVER A GAME WHEN IT SEEMS HORRIBLE FOR HIS TEAM. HE CAN STILL BE SHUT DOWN.
Lebron is living up to the hype, look at his stats, yes he is down a little, but that is because he is trying to involve his teamates. He knows he can only carry his team by himself so far. His stats are still awesome. Everyone was giving him a hard time for them dropping, but you gotta realize, this is a medium team playing high level basketball because of ONE player. How far did they go in the playoffs? To be honest I dont think they will beat the pistons, but because of LEBRON I will not say that for sure, if Lebron plays good basketball, for him, then they can take it to game seven against the pistons, again. If Lebron steps it up a notch, even a little, then they beat the sleeping pistons and play San Antonio in the finals. Why??? Because of ONE player, Lebron
1) I thought a series lasted until a team wins 4, so it is not too late

2)He is not supposed to feel like bball is the only thing in his life.

He has a family to think about too

3)People were killing him when he said he might sit out the FIBA thing this year because he was tired.

4)He plays with a not very talented squad so he needs more than enthusiasm to make it to the finals

5)You think having a big house built is a distraction??!!??

6)HE IS 22 YEARS OLD!!!!! none of us will have that kind of pressure on us so chill out!!
He's living up to his hype. Just because he hasnt won a championship all of you criticize him. He's only 22...come on a 22 year old leading a young team to a NBA championship?

Coming out of high school he was expected to become a immediate superstar, post up great numbers, lead his team to the playoffs, and hes done all that and some more. Hes not the best player yet, that belongs to Kobe. But definitely he has lived up to his hype, and one of the best players ever to play the game.

Just because he passed in Game 1 vs. Detroit instead of taking the shot is not a reason to criticize him. The pass he made was THE best choice and Donyell Marshall is a good 3 point shooter and he was wide open. I have to say great play, did not expect him to make the pass. In Game 2 he had to take it into his own hands. No blame, great players miss game winning shots too.
O HE IS LIVING UP TO THE HYPE.???? CHECK THE NUMBERS THEY AINT LIE!!!!! THE KID IS SICK AND HES A TEAM PLAYER HE CAN PASS DRIVE AND IS STILL IMPROVING ON HIS DEFENSE AND SHOOTING. YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER THIS WOULD BE HIS JUNIOR YEAR IN COLLEGE. WHAT WERE YOU DOING AT `18? I KNOW I WASNT DOING ISH LIKE THIS KID. AND HES GOT CHARISMA.
